The Australian Services Union Private Sector Branch will host a Panel of three highly accomplished women in the fields of law, politics and the labour movement:
• Minister for Workplace Safety the Honourable Ingrid Stitt MP;
• Former Attorney-General and Member for Altona Jill Hennessy MP; and
• Linda White, Former Assistant National Secretary of the Australian Services Union.
The panel will be moderated by employment law specialist Carita Kazakoff, Principal Lawyer at Slater + Gordon Lawyers.
Given that a significant proportion of legal professionals in Victoria are female, and that sexual harassment overwhelmingly impacts on women, this event is both timely and necessary.
Now is the time to seize the momentum for workplaces free of sexual harassment.
The event will count towards a Continuing Professional Development Point (Practice Management & Business Skills).
