Whether Visa Center scheduled an interview for you and whether Citizenship and Immigration Services approved the petition submitted on your behalf will determine the next steps in your case. The material that follows covers scheduling a medical exam, a list of the paperwork you'll need on the day of your visa interview, and what to do if you need to change the date of your interview appointment.
You must get an original or certified copy of each of the documents for yourself and each member of your family who is asking for a visa, in addition to one photocopy aside from your passport and photographs, if your application is being processed by the Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy. Even if they were previously submitted to the Citizenship and Immigration Services with your petition, all supporting documents are necessary.
How we help
On the day of the Deed poll for visa interview, you must visit the Embassy with all required documentation. To acquire comprehensive information about the needed documents, your application can be turned down if you don't bring the required paperwork to your interview.
