Reliable Robotics, a leader in autonomous aircraft systems, has appointed Marc Pos as the head of radar design, a critical component of their aircraft-agnostic Airspace Integration Solution. The company's goal is to facilitate the safe and efficient integration of remotely piloted aircraft, whether crewed or uncrewed, into the National Airspace System (NAS). As a Senior Fellow, Marc Pos will lead the effort to certify Detect and Avoid (DAA) systems capable of tracking all airspace users, even those without transponders, with radar being the primary all-weather, non-cooperative sensor for this purpose. Reliable Robotics simultaneously focuses on certifying their aircraft automation system and building the Airspace Integration Solution. Marc Pos brings 30 years of experience to the team, having designed radios, radars, and radar altimeters during his tenure at Honeywell. The addition of radar technology enhances operational safety, particularly for aircraft operations beyond metropolitan areas. Reliable Robotics is actively recruiting top talent to realize their vision of making air transportation safer, more convenient, and cost-effective.
