Amorepacific Wins Fifth Consecutive CES Innovation Award

Amorepacific has secured its fifth consecutive win at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 Innovation Awards, this time in the Digital Health category. The awarded innovation, 'Lipcure Beam,' is a revolutionary beauty tech device that integrates lip diagnosis, care, and makeup functionalities into a single unit.

The 'Lipcure Beam' cap, housing a precision sensor, conducts on-the-spot lip diagnostics by instantly detecting moisture levels when applied to the lips. Upon separation from the container, a makeup tool is revealed. Depending on the diagnostic results, the brush-like cosmetic applicator emits customized visible light, leveraging a light-responsive material developed at the Amorepacific R&I Center. This material interacts with the emitted light, enhancing the response of riboflavin, a natural vitamin, thereby fortifying collagen fibers within the lips and creating a moisturizing barrier.

Notably, the technology embedded in 'Lipcure Beam' slows down the aging process of the lips, contributing to a more youthful appearance. The device is designed for user convenience, featuring one-handed operation and portability. Its universal color system caters to all races and ages, ensuring global accessibility, and optimized light operation conserves battery life. The incorporation of patented technology underlines Amorepacific's commitment to innovation.

The 'Lipcure Beam' represents the culmination of Amorepacific's strengths in skin biotechnology and dedicated research and development in customer-centric technology. By winning this consecutive CES Innovation Award, Amorepacific underscores its dedication to providing unique beauty and health solutions. Byung-Fhy Suh, Head of Amorepacific R&I Center, expressed deep honor and stated that the center would continue extensive efforts to ensure customer satisfaction in beauty and health.

This award follows a series of notable innovations by Amorepacific, spanning from a Tailored Facial Mask Pack 3D Printing System in 2020 to a Mind-linked Bathbot and Myskin Recovery Platform in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Each innovation showcases Amorepacific's commitment to pushing the boundaries of beauty and health technology, earning them recognition at one of the world's foremost tech events.
