The Sunrise story began in 2006 with no more than an idea and the purchase of a mobile unit. Within 2 years Sunrise outgrew the unit and the purchase of a food van was made. Although this sounds very brief and lineal, there were many twists, turns and struggles to this story.
Continuing the theme of growth, we were shortly after that able to acquire a shop at 120 Broughton Lane and have been there to this day, crafting and perfecting our take on the Caribbean food we all love.

"We believe that Sunrise is a taste of Jamaica on your doorstep, it's variety of food means that everyone can enjoy it and while we are renowned for our Jerk chicken and Curry mutton, the staples to any Jamaican Grandma's recipe book, the more contemporary options are just as flavoursome and authentic. There is truly something for everyone"
And now with bigger plans yet to unfold. Sunrise's greatest achievement of all is "being able to grow with the people around us and the excitement of forming new friendships with each and every person that joins us on this journey"
