The Lobe network is a culmination of a dream for its founder, Martin Cousineau. It was in 2002, almost 20 years ago, that Mr. Cousineau founded Lobe with one goal in mind: to make the hearing health consultation process more accessible to patients.
To do this, he devised a unique multidisciplinary approach where all hearing health professionals are under one roof, making the consultation process much easier for patients.
Lobe initially brought together ENT specialists, audiologists, and audioprosthetists, and the network has now expanded to include a number of other hearing health and communication professionals. We welcomed specialized educators to our clinic in 2006, followed by speech-language pathologists in 2007.Over the years, close to 60 clinics have been added to our network and nearly 250 people now work in our clinics and at our head office! Take a look at our history to see how we’ve grown over the years.

Always looking to the future, in 2020 we entered into a partnership with a major real estate developer in the healthcare field. This will allow us to better carry out our mission of easing access to hearing health and communication care. By opening new clinics across Quebec, we are able to offer local services to our communities, meet the needs of an aging population, and break the isolation caused by hearing loss. After all, 33% of people aged 65 and over live with hearing loss. That’s huge. Because we provide services locally, people who need hearing health and communication care don’t have to travel long distances to get the help and support they need.
We are and will always be there for you!
