My name is Megan Yorio and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 years of clinical experience. I have spent the majority of my career working with families to stabilize children within the home. In this work, I have learned to appreciate and value the importance of being able to conceptualize cases holistically and meet clients where they are. I take special attention to ensure that my office is a safe space for all to come...a place for people to be listened and validated in a non-judgmental manner I am comfortable working with a diversity of presentations including anxiety, depression, PTSD, divorce/separation, behavioral problems, and school based concerns. I have worked in a variety of settings including home based work, outpatient clinics, adult day treatment programs and schools. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and provide training to mental health professionals on the impact that trauma has on people. It has been a pleasure to see the transformation that people are capable of with the appropriate amount of support!
