Can anyone guide me on how to Chromecasting photos from my iPhone?

I don’t feel very comfortable working with iCloud. Maybe I haven’t set it up correctly, or I haven’t fully understood how the storage works, but I often have problems finding and retrieving photos and videos on different devices that should be connected to the same iCloud. To retrieve my photos from iCloud, I had to go through a lot of articles, guides, and everything else to figure it out. As I understand it, it’s very important to enable iCloud sync on all devices.
