The Joylessness of Cooking

I've been reflecting lately on the idea that cooking can sometimes feel like a chore rather than a joy. What are some ways you've found to make cooking more enjoyable and less of a task?

For me, putting on some music really transforms the whole cooking experience. Whether it's upbeat tunes to keep the energy high or something more relaxing after a long Retro Bowl College day, music helps make the process feel more like a creative activity rather than a chore.

By the way, I almost completely replaced regular sunflower oil with just canola oil or extra virgin olive oil, since it is much healthier; There are many more substances that our body needs to improve its quality. I have a question for those who love to cook, I was wondering if anyone adds olive oil or canola oil to their recipes?

Cooking can definitely lose its appeal when it becomes a daily routine. One trick that's worked wonders for me is exploring new and exciting recipes, like the cottage cheese balls recipe https://dishmagazine.com/recipe/sweet-cottage-cheese-balls/ . Trying out different cuisines or experimenting with fresh ingredients can add a sense of adventure to meal preparation. It's also helpful to involve family or friends in cooking sessions, turning it into a social activity rather than a solitary task. Another approach is to set aside dedicated time for cooking, treating it as a creative outlet or a form of self-care. For those busy days, having a few quick and easy recipes on hand can take the stress out of meal planning.
