Meet the Operator: Matt DeMichele-Rigoni
In 2021, Matt DeMichele-Rigoni became the first Chick-fil-A franchise owner in Metro-Boston, and leads an organization comprised of 120 employees.
Matt spends his time focusing mostly on building positive organizational culture in his restaurant and has a strong passion for serving team members and guests alike. He challenges his team to touch lives by creating unique moments of care for guests and anyone that interacts with the Chick-fil-A brand. Matt is passionate about having positive influence in the Boston community and aspires to become Boston’s most cared for company.
Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Business from Southern New Hampshire University. Matt also studied organizational leadership. Matt worked the last 14 years with Chick-fil-A in various roles working for other local Franchise Owners as well as working for Chick-fil-A Inc. as a Grand Opening Supervisor and Interim Manager for company locations.
Matt enjoys doing life and business in the city that he was born and raised in. Matt appreciates being part of a community of numerous cultures and diversity of thought. Find Matt at Fenway with his spouse, João, watching a Red Sox game, “scootering” alongside the Charles River, or walking his pup, Shiloh.
