NABERS RATINGS
Currently, Highpoint Shopping Centre holds a 4.5 stars NABERS Energy Rating. Highpoint emits 53.1% less carbon emission per square metre in comparison to a similar retail asset in size.
LIGHT BULB MOMENT
Did you know that Highpoint recently went through a lighting upgrade? We replaced 2,800 lights across the asset with LED lights which will reduce our electricity consumption by around 10%. LED lights are more energy efficient and have a longer lifespan than the average non LED lights. This means we will use less lights and less energy, which is in turn, provides a great outcome for the environment!
COMMUNITY
Highpoint works with local community groups on initiatives that support the evolving landscape of Melbourne’s West. The Centre has forged partnerships with organisations across government, sport, education and the arts. The Centre is committed to being an exciting part of the social fabric of the community and working with organisations who share its values. Read about our Community Partners here.
Highpoint is part of The GPT Group, who operates community programs in living, employability and skilling and social inclusion.
ART
Highpoint prides itself on the selection of art showcased throughout the centre. We believe that art has an amazing ability to connect people of different cultures and connect communities in the West.
