Peel Valley Machinery Service commenced operations in September, 1965, at 91 Kable Avenue, Tamworth. The business started as sub-dealers for NSW state John Deere agricultural machinery distributors, W & J Farm Equipment.

Peel Valley Machinery Service was started by Dungowan farmers and harvesting contractors David John and his brother Barry.
