Relaxation Massage
Just like it sounds. This is a full body massage for those that want to just unwind, relax, de-stress, meditate or simply daydream in a calm relaxing environment while enjoying all the health benefits that massage provides.
Deep Tissue / Pressure Massage
I incorporate both of these two different techniques when I concentrate on deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. With deep pressure I focus on the afflicted area with firm pressure without movement. With deep tissue work, there is deep pressure applied but with a very slow movement on the tissue being worked on, which is known as "stripping" the muscle and tendons.
Prenatal Massage
A full body massage for the expectant mother as they lay on their back on a warm water cushion that supports the lower back relieving pain and soreness. Other benefits include reducing swelling, relief from back issues, headaches, improves circulation which reduces stress, resulting in a better nights sleep. I do ask for a doctors permission to have a prenatal massage, especially if you are in your first trimester. Please feel free to call

Hot Stone Massage
Instead of the traditional "hands on" approach, I use smooth hot stones to warm up tight muscles and tissue. Heat from the stones expands the arteries and veins. This allows for more oxygen and nutrients to enter the muscle tissue and at the same time the toxins , such as lactic acid, are pushed out of the muscle and into the blood and lymph systems to be purified. This is a combination of relaxation and deep tissue work.
