Salmon

Fish the world class Salmon River in Pulaski, N.Y. for some of the best SalmonSteelhead, and Brown Trout fishing in the country. August through October is an excellent time for Chinook Salmon and Coho Salmon fishing.

King Salmon average 20+ pounds with some tipping the trophy scale in the 40 pound class. The Coho Salmon will average 12-20 pounds and give you an acrobatic fight of a lifetime. Hooking these torpedoes on a fly rod with light tippet is a challenge that will keep you coming back to this beautiful river for years to come.

STEELHEAD

Mid-October the Steelhead trout enter the Salmon River in pursuit of the salmon eggs. These big Steelhead remain in the Salmon River through April when they spawn. Steelhead average between 10-20 pounds and test the gears on the best fishing reels. Steelhead will peal off line, and will take you to your backing in seconds! Steelhead are some of the best pound for pound fighters in the Salmon River Pulaski, New York.
