Dr. Thomas R. Dickson, DDS
Dr. Thomas Dickson was born and raised in Salt Lake, and attend Skyline High and the University of Utah.
Dr. Dickson attended Creighton University School of Dentistry under a partial scholastic scholarship, and was awarded the “Outstanding Community Health Dentist” upon graduation in 1993. He was the student supervisor of the Indian-Chicano Dental Clinic for two years, and used Spanish language skills he learned in Argentina on an LDS mission.
During dental school, he participated in several externships, including a summer in Kansas City, Missouri at a disadvantaged free clinic, and advanced seminars in treatment planning and placement of dental implants with Dr. Timothy McVaney, a pioneer in dental implants.
Dr. Dickson is currently a teaching mentor and faculty member of the WhiteCap Institute, an advanced dental implant and surgery training institute in Park City, Utah. He spends time volunteering in community outreach at the Donated Dental Services, performing complex dental procedures for disadvantaged people.
He is married with four children, enjoys running in team road race events, water sports and home improvement welding projects.
