    Asian Massage
The healing methods of massage traveled to China and Southeast Asia about 2700 BCE. Chinese massage methods developed as a combination of skills and practices of traditional Chinese medicine, martial arts and the spiritual yoga training of Buddhists and Taoists. Their methods were very similar to those of the Indians, based on the belief that disease was caused by an imbalance or deficiency of energy of various pathways. The ancient Chinese developed a text called The Yellow Emperor’s Classic Book of Internal Medicine that is today considered a staple of massage therapy alternative medicine (acupuncture, acupressure and herbal remedies).

Especially helpful for tense areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. Deep tissue massage is used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle "knots" (bands of painful, muscles) that can cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation. Deep tissue massage service usually focuses on a specific problem, such as muscle pain.

    Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu Chinese massage therapy is similar to Chinese acupressure. It includes gentle pressing with palms, thumbs, elbows, fingers, knees and feet, on the meridians in order to induce relaxation of the mind and body.

    Ashiatsu Massage
    (Walk On Back)
Ashiatsu massage therapy, is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists are able to provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the receiving client. Cream or oil is applied to the clients body making this deep therapeutic massage fluid and relaxing. Parallel bars are used above the massage table for balance, support and client safety.

    Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage therapy promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, heated stones at key points on the body. Our professional massage therapists also incorporate a customized massage, with the use of hot stones. The premise behind hot stone massage therapy is that the direct heat of the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to their deeper muscle layers.
