We opened our car repair business in 2015 and soon realised that we needed to offer a replacement car for our clients to use while their car was being repaired (Chamonix public transport is tricky and not always all that reliable). In 2017 purchased a red fiat panda and called him “Noddy”. Demand for this replacement car was far higher than we had anticipated – Red Panda Rentals was started in the Autumn of 2019 with two 4x4 Fiat Pandas (red of course!)
Environmental impact is important to us hence we have all hybrid / petrol cars, adding winter tyres and ski racks as standard along with a good choice of 4x4 cars ensures that our customers have the best experience during the winter months.
5 YEARS This year sees Red Panda Rentals moving into our fifth successful year of business, founders Paul and Gemma recount: "I suppose we both had experienced our fair share of car rental horrors and we came to the conclusion that hiring a car does not have to be journey full of trepidation and fear, it can and should be a relatively stress free procedure… It was clear a different approach was needed…
…so we decided to take on the monopoly of these faceless multi-national car rental companies.
