Product features and advantages
BYK-044 is recommended as a defoaming agent for abrasives to eliminate foam in water-based pigment concentrates.
Suggested dosage
0.05-0.5% adjuvant dosage (purchased form) is based on the total formulation.
0.2-2% additive dosage (purchased form) is based on the pigment concentrate slurry.
The above recommended addition amount is for reference only, and the optimal addition amount needs to be determined through a series of experiments.
Addition method and processing guidance
Due to the high degree of incompatibility, this defoamer must be added under high shear forces to ensure good dispersion. Otherwise, the system may be defective.
