Serious question: Are collections actually important, or is it just fluff for collectors? I know some people hunt skins from older collections, but for someone who just wants cool-looking gear, is it worth caring about what set it’s from?

I thought collections were just for hardcore collectors too, until I tried selling a skin and realized its collection made it more valuable than I thought. Collections matter if you’re into trading or investing. Some are discontinued and have skins that won’t come back, so those can become rare over time. Even casual traders can benefit from knowing the collection—it helps you understand if a skin might rise in value later. But if you're purely into visuals, it’s less relevant.
