‘Dangerously hot conditions’ heading for CT; state extreme hot weather protocol to activate

Weather Services say the first heat wave of the season is expected to start on Tuesday with peak heat index values up to 105 possible.

Heat will likely continue through the end of the week, the services report.

Accuweather forecasts a heatwave for a broad swathe of northeast region, including Connecticut.
