Hastelloy C22 Plate is a versatile austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion. It has chromium content which provides good oxidizing resistance media while the tungsten and molybdenum content provides good resistance reduction to media. ASME SB575 C22 Hastelloy Coil is beneficial for multi-purpose plants where such "upset" condition usually occurs, they optimum resistance to an environment where oxidizing and reducing conditions in process streams are encountered. Alloy C22 Plate has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media including mixtures containing nitric acid and wet chlorine or oxidizing acids with chlorine ions.

UNS N06022 Hot Rolled Plate is useful in applications for Pesticide production, flue gas scrubbers, sulfur dioxide scrubbers, pulp and paper bleach plants, chlorination systems, and chemical processing industry in pickling systems. JIS NW 6022 Plate is ductile enough to be formed by cold working and due to work hardening intermediate annealing, it should be performed at a temperature range between 2020-2150° F followed by a rapid quench. Stockiest of Alloy C22 Hastelloy Foil suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition. They weld heat-affected zone it resists the formation of grain-boundary precipitates.
