Pets are a wonderful part of our lives, bringing us love and joy. When we live in an apartment building there are special requirements every pet owner must follow to keep their furry friend safe, and happy.
- All pets needs to be approved & registered with the strata manager. This helps us to know what pets are where in an emergency.
- Dogs need to be on leads or carried when on the common property, at all times. This is for the safety of your pet, other dogs and your neighbours.
- Any damage caused by pets to the common property will need to be paid for by the pet owner, this includes to gardens.
- If your pet makes a mess, please clean it up.
- Kitty litter must never be disposed of in toilets or down drains.
- A bored dog will be a loud dog. Make sure your dog is getting enough exercise and has the stimulation it needs to stay happy when you are out.
- The best way to enjoy your pet is in knowing they are safe, happy and not causing a nuisance to anyone else.
- It’s important to remember that not everyone will love your furry friend as much as you. Train your dog not to jump up on others, especially in lifts and hallways. Check in with your neighbours to find out how your pet behaves when you’re not home. You can even invest in special pet cameras that allow you to talk to your pet and give it a treat remotely!
