Phoenix Massage by Nicole Jenné

Welcome to Phoenix Massage, my name is Nicole Jenné. I’m so excited to be part of your journey to a pain-free and happily balanced body. I specialize in low back, hip issues, upper back pain, TMJ and headaches using deep tissue and myofascial techniques. My focus is not only on those painful local areas, but on addressing the posture and misalignment that caused and continues to cause those issues in the first place.

My aim is to solve the problem holistically instead of just focusing on pain management. In addition, I hope to educate you on how to apply bodywork techniques, exercises and stretches at home to alleviate chronic pains and misalignments. You deserve to take part in your own healing. Your participation will get you to your health goals faster and maintain them.

I have been exploring ways over the years to get to know my body in the form of yoga, weight lifting and, of course, bodywork.

Yoga and movement therapy have been something that I've done throughout the years. And while I never did it consistently for long, it was something I always came back to. It was a wonderful teacher by showing me the way to explore the mind-body connection, proper alignment and to increase the awareness for the reasons of my body's pain. That combined with my knowledge of anatomy has helped immensely.

Weightlifting, for me, started in middle school and lasted until the end of high school. Unfortunately, I took a long hiatus from regular exercise and it wasn't until about 5 years ago that I started working out again. I think it was really important to experience what it felt like being active and then spending many years very inactive before becoming active once more.

And I'd say, between the experiences I've had with Yoga, weight lifting and receiving bodywork, it's helped me better understand my body and how I can use them to help alleviate my aches and pains and frankly, just support my body with balance and strength.

I have been a Massage Therapist for over 15 years. I have over 1000 hours of massage and healing education, including the study of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal and Myofascial Release. I love what massage has done for me when I give or receive. I hope to share my passion and help you create your own empowering momentum towards a pain-free and happily balanced body.
