Which is better - USMLE or PLAB?

Despite being based in the UK and currently working for the NHS, I would advise people to take up the USMLE. There are various reasons for that :

  • USMLE may help you land up Residency/Fellowship positions not only in US, but also in Australia, Canada, Dubai, Oman, and many other middle East countries. PLAB on the other hand, isn't enough to land you a Residency position in the UK itself!
