Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is an upcoming superhero film based on the same-named Marvel Comics superhero team. The film is a prequel to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Endgame, and The Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special. It is the thirty-second entry of Phase Five and the thirty-second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will be released on May 5, 2023.

The films demonstrate the concept and speak to the MCU formula in general, with lots of jokes and emotion along the way. This new video for the forthcoming projects looks fantastic and has the same sort of energy and camaraderie as the previous volumes, but it also teases the gloomy tone of things coming to an end, with director James Gunn vowing an "end of an era" at the finish of Vol.3.
